Welcome to Dublin
Dublin is the capital city of Ireland and home to more than a third of the country’s population. Set on the east coast at the mouth of the River Liffey, the city combines a rich literary and musical heritage with a growing global reputation as a European tech hub.
Dublin is one of Europe’s leading locations for business and innovation. Home to the European headquarters of Google, Meta, Microsoft and many other global companies, the city has a strong infrastructure for professionals and corporate travel. A skilled workforce, supportive start-up environment and well-connected transport links make Dublin an ideal choice for business stays and long-term relocation.
The city's cultural identity is reflected in many of Ireland’s most significant historical sites. As a UNESCO City of Literature, it has been home to some of the world’s most well-known writers and musicians — from James Joyce to U2. Landmarks such as Dublin Castle, St Patrick’s Cathedral and the National Museum of Ireland offer insight into the city’s history, while Trinity College remains one of its most visited attractions. Here, visitors can view the Book of Kells, explore the Old Library, and tour the Long Room’s extensive collection.
Dublin is equally shaped by its natural surroundings. Green spaces like Phoenix Park and the National Botanic Gardens provide quiet spots within reach of the centre. Along the coastline, Dublin Port, Bull Island and Dollymount Strand offer sea views and scenic walks. For those looking to explore further, the Cliffs of Moher are within day-trip distance.
For shopping, dining and local culture, Grafton Street remains a favourite among visitors and locals alike. Set between Trinity College and St Stephen’s Green, it features major retailers, cafés and international brands – making it an ideal attraction to explore Dublin at a relaxed pace. Other local highlights include the Irish Whiskey Museum and the Guinness Storehouse – both within easy reach of the city centre.
Urban Rest offers short term accommodation in Dublin across some of the city’s most liveable areas — including Urban Rest Merrion Square, located close to Trinity College, and Urban Rest Dublin Port near Griffith Avenue – a quieter residential area just north of the city centre. Whether you're visiting for business, relocation or leisure, Urban Rest's serviced accommodation Dublin provides a comfortable and convenient base.

Excellent location, right in front of the tram stop and just a step away from City Centre and Dublin’s newest shopping area. Everything was new, almost brand new, with complete equipment, especially the kitchen area. Furniture, design, and decoration were not only simple and practical but also very functional. We noticed there is attention to all details and preparation for the guests’ comfort. The customer service team responded very quickly and effectively to any questions or minor issues. We felt very comfortable, truly a place to return to.
The location was perfect, the apartment was stunning, access to all amenities, and no issues with noise etc.
The apartment was fantastic. Everything was new and clean. We really liked having a laundry machine in the apartment, and the high quality bath towels were fantastic.
The apartment was lovely and well-positioned. Had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable.
The location was great for being in the city and also to work quickly. The flats were new and clean and in a quiet area.
Facilities were a welcome change from long-term hotel stays; loved to be able to use an oven, laundry, and dishwasher.
Our studio apartment was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Good quality linen, nice towels and plenty of plates and cups. Great location close to the airport bus stop and close to the river.
The unit was clean and had reliable internet.
